Young Managers Simulation Championship

AIMA - the apex body for Management is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee this year. It has worked closely with the managers across levels to bring newer formats to enhance and accelerate their learning.

AIMA is pleased to launch its first Young Managers Simulation Championship (YMS 2017) in Delhi. It is specifically designed for managers who are less than 35 years of age and would expose them to the world of taking critical business decisions in the process develop business acumen through Business Simulation.

Over the years, more than 10,000 managers and 400 organisations have already benefited from AIMA's Management Games. YMS would be a team based Competition and the only of its kind in India. Young Managers Simulation is a new endeavor to provide an excellent opportunity to the current generation to familiarize them about Business Management concepts and manage a business in the simulated environment. The participants are sensitized to acquaint with the challenges faced by the top Leaders, Decision Makers, and Administrators as functional Heads to encounter these by forming the business strategies and making decisions. The exposure sharpens their business acumen and definitely makes them ready as versatile human asset to shoulder multi-tasking by using the business skills enhanced through developing business acumen through this Business Simulation.

  • Develop business acumen through Business Simulation.

The Champion Team would also get a "Wild Card" entry at the National Management Games 2018 (NMG 2018). It could be a unique opportunity for your company to win the National Championship and have the honor of representing the Country at NMG, AMG and GMC.

7th YMS Championship 2023

The Process

  1. 2- 3 members team represents an enterprise and appoints Functional Heads to adopt the role of CEO, CFO and CMO
  2. A hypothetical business case is presented to each team with economic data and financial reports.
  3. Each team works on its own strategy in all functional areas and product development with an aim to reach to the pre-set goal.
  4. The entire competition would be conducted through AIMA's proprietary software “Chanakya”
